OMADAfter50 involves health-related information about your fasting, medication timing, and wellbeing, so we've written this policy to be clear about what we collect, why, and how it's protected.

2. Information We Collect
To provide the OMADAfter50 service, we collect:
- Account details: your email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text)
- Fasting and safety data you choose to log: fasting timer sessions, electrolyte and medication reminders you set up, and any notes or entries you add
- Payment information: subscription payments are handled entirely by Stripe — we do not see or store your card details
- Technical data: standard information such as IP address and browser type
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and maintain your account and the fasting/safety features you use, process your subscription and send payment-related emails via Stripe, send account-related emails such as welcome messages or password resets, and improve the app.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the third parties needed to run OMADAfter50:
- Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
- Railway — hosting and database infrastructure
- Brevo — sending account and welcome emails
We may also disclose information if required by law.
6. Your Rights (UK GDPR)
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to request a copy of the information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@omadafter50.co.uk.
7. Data Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes.
8. Health Information & Medical Disclaimer
OMADAfter50 is not a medical service, and any fasting or health-related data you log is for your own personal tracking only. We do not use this data to provide medical advice, and it is not reviewed by a healthcare professional. Please see our Terms & Conditions for our full medical disclaimer.
9. Website Analytics and Consent
On the OMADAfter50 marketing and signup pages, Google Analytics is loaded only if you select “Accept analytics”. It helps us understand page visits and successful account signups so we can improve the service. If you decline, analytics is not loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser so the site can remember it. Google may process technical information such as device, browser, approximate location and usage data under its own privacy terms.
